Time wise the development has key timing milestones to achieve and transportable buildings have offered an affordable quick solution to ensure the golf course could operate while longer term plans were set in place.
Being situated in coastal sand dunes, it was imperative that all building and site work was conscious of the environmental impact. Screw pull foundations were used, which can literally be reversed out and buildings relocated with minimal impact on the land.
The golf course provides significant employment opportunity to the local community, both locals and internationals, and therefore design layout of the site needed to encourage social interaction whilst also giving independence and space to staff if required. Smaller buildings were favoured and grouped together to facilitate community but give staff their individual space.
The design of the whole golf course is paramount, and to that end we needed to supply a range of exterior finishes to fit in with their design parameters. Cladding supplied ranged from custom burnt weather board, cedar and black shadowclad.
The golf course infrastructure is in full development with multiple building projects including prestigious personal residences being built on-site.
Multiple builds of consistent layout ensured speed of construction in our factory. The site was prepared before delivery meaning on-site disruption was condensed which is favourable for an operating sporting facility.
